ABOUT OUR EVENT
Is the venue ADA accessible?
It was extremely important to us that our venue be inclusive and accessible. As such, the entire venue is wheelchair and mobility device accessible.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony and reception will both be held indoors.
Will there be an open bar?
Yep! Libations will be provided!
I have a dietary restriction or food allergy. What type of food will be served at your wedding?
Our caterer, the Russell on Main, will be providing options that include vegan/dairy-free and gluten-sensitive offerings. If you have an additional dietary restriction, please reach out to Chip or Megan so we can work with the caterer to ensure you have a delicious meal!
Are plus ones and children allowed?
As much as we love being surrounded by all of our family, friends and acquaintances, there will be limited seating at this event. We kindly ask that only those listed on this invitation attend.
And although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate all children at the venue due to these same restrictions. This event will have an open bar, adult-friendly menu options, no child-oriented entertainment, and we are unable to provide childcare. As such we hope you will see this as an opportunity to relax and enjoy the party with us!
Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer guests to wear?
Wear whatever you feel most confident in!
Getting to the Venue
What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?
Great news! Both the ceremony and the reception are being held at the same location. The UNION is located at 1721 Baltimore Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64108.
What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?
Our venue, the UNION, is conveniently located in the Kansas City Crossroads and is only one block off of the Kansas City Streetcar. The UNION is located between the Kaufman Center (16th & Main) and Crossroads (19th & Main) street car stops.

Good Packs
Most homeless shelters do not allow pets, leaving thousands of veterans experiencing homelessness with a difficult choice: stay with their pet and face the dangers of living outside, or check into a shelter and abandon their only family. As Greater Good Charities works to distribute Good Packs filled with critical supplies to help unhoused veterans and their furry companions.
The Good Packs program aims to keep veterans and their pets together during their deepest moments of crisis.
